After many years in the financial services industry Adam joined RBC in 2019. He is dedicated to providing analysis of complex cases, designing customized solutions utilizing insurance-based solutions and demonstrating how to increase net worth, simplify wealth planning and reduce the impact of taxation.
Outside of work Adam happily spends his time keeping up with his wife and two young children all while taking his recreational softball very seriously.
Mary obtained her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Western Ontario in 1983. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 1985.
Following her call to the Bar, Mary was in private practice for 24 years, specializing in the areas of will and estate planning, estate administration, real estate and corporate law. Since 2011, she has worked exclusively in the areas of will and estate planning with a major trust company and a bank. Mary joined RBC Wealth Management in October 2016.
Mary is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Middlesex Law Association.
As a Senior Trust Advisor, Susan Macdonald serves clients throughout Western Ontario and is located in the Hamilton office. With a career focused on client relationships, she is dedicated to her clients and provides a personalized service tailored to their specific needs. She provides a wealth of knowledge relating to trusts and their administration. Susan has continued to deepen her knowledge and expertise with key industry designations such as Member, Trust Institute (MTI) and Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designations.
Susan works with individuals, families and businesses to provide customized estate, trust and incapacity solutions. Whether it is helping someone to settle an estate, establishing a trust to ensure the successful transfer of family assets, or arranging to assist with the administration and responsibilities for a power of attorney, Susan can help.
With more than 20 years of industry experience, Susan brings to each client the necessary skill set to provide both the technical expertise as well as the genuine understanding of the emotional complexities that underlie these issues. Susan understands that no two clients are the same and so together with her RBC Royal Trust partners she can find the solution that’s right for you.

Having joined RBC in 1996, Lynn was an Investment Associate prior to discovering her passion for insurance solutions in 2009. When not at work Lynn is often found at a ball game, hitting the slopes or snacking on fries under the Bluewater Bridge with her husband and two children.
